Yesterday morning I went for a nice long run. And followed it up with a quick photo-sprint around the garden. The weather was perfect but I didn’t have that much time to take photos (because it was my birthday and we had lots of exciting plans); so, I just snapped a few shots to document this important milestone. Things are happening, as you can see, and most of them are beautiful. (I also briefly witnessed two voles fighting next to the compost pile, but failed to capture that moment.)
Anyway, here’s what’s growing: some happy images of a happy morning!
Snow peas against a new trellis
One of my 3-year-old kiwi plants
Kiwi and lilies
More borage. It’s so fuzzy!
First squash blossom
Cucumber plants are slowly getting bigger
Watermelon seedlings are not getting bigger at all…
Red currants ripening. They are so tart!
A study in lettuce
Kohlrabi is getting there
And then there was also this old potato… that has also increased in size in the last couple of months…
