Yesterday morning I went for a nice long run. And followed it up with a quick photo-sprint around the garden. The weather was perfect but I didn’t have that much time to take photos (because it was my birthday and we had lots of exciting plans); so, I just snapped a few shots to document this important milestone. Things are happening, as you can see, and most of them are beautiful. (I also briefly witnessed two voles fighting next to the compost pile, but failed to capture that moment.)
Anyway, here’s what’s growing: some happy images of a happy morning!

Thanks, cousin!
Your kohlrabi is already the size of an asteroid. What do you do to make them grow so quickly?
Used a micro lens!
It’s the size on an egg, approximately. But growing fast. I direct-sowed them in April, and then thinned to about 1 ft between the plants.Read more …
These are really awesome. Happy Birthday!!!
